- 2 cups high-quality semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of liqueur (like Grand Marnier or Baileys, optional)
- Fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, apples, and pineapple)
- Mini marshmallows
- Brownies or cake cubes
- Pre-made cookies or biscotti
- Soft pretzels
Instructions
- Plug in your crockpot and set it to low heat.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the chocolate chips, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. If using liqueur, add it now.
- Pour the mixture into the slow cooker and stir gently to combine.
- Cover and let the chocolate melt for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Check the consistency after 30 minutes; if too thick, add more cream.
- Once melted, serve directly from the crockpot with skewers or forks for dipping.
