A comforting family favorite that combines seasoned ground beef, creamy potatoes, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound Ground beef
4 medium Potatoes (peeled and sliced)
1 medium Onion (chopped)
2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 can (10.5 oz) Condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat.
Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes. Pour half of the beef mixture over the potatoes, then sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your hearty meal!
