This Seafood Pasta with Crawfish is not just any pasta dish—it's an experience that amalgamates simplicity with gourmet flair. The secret lies in the balance of fresh seafood ingredients that shine through in the creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale:
12 ounces Fettuccine or Linguine Pasta
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Fresh Crawfish Meat
1 cup Cooked Crab Meat
1 cup Cooked Shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
¼ cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Stir in the heavy cream, and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to reduce slightly for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the crawfish, crab, and shrimp to the skillet, and gently fold them into the sauce. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the seafood is heated through.
Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley, then season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water until you reach the desired consistency.
Combine the cooked pasta with the seafood sauce, tossing until well coated. Serve immediately, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
