This Crab and Shrimp St■ Salmon recipe is a delightful way to elevate your dining experience, whether for a special occasion or a cozy dinner at home.
Ingredients
Scale:
4 (6-ounce each) salmon fillets
1 cup, cooked and shredded crab meat
1 cup, peeled and chopped shrimp
4 ounces, softened cream cheese
2 cloves, minced garlic
2, chopped green onions
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon, dried dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This temperature ensures even cooking for the salmon.
In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, minced garlic, green onions, breadcrumbs, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, ensuring the seafood is evenly distributed.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, make a pocket in each fillet by slicing lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Stuff each salmon fillet with the crab and shrimp mixture, pressing gently to secure the filling within the pocket.
Place the st■ salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top for a burst of flavor.
